Some great shots (beautifully composed) but quite a few that are poorly focussed or where the DoF has missed the the best part of the subject or a quick image stack would have helped.

Have a look at Lord V’s insect shots on flickr (he’s both prolific and inspirational) or any of the insect macro groups on there.

Absolutely stunning! Macro photography allows you to see things you can’t see with a naked eye. That’s why those photos are so appealing to the rest of us. Nice collection!
