There is a Kontera hack circling around the blogosphere, a hack where you can change your Kontera text link from double underline to single underline by adding this following into the Kontera code:
- var dc_single_line = ‘yes’;
This made the Kontera text ad links blends perfectly into your content, like a normal content hyperlink. However Kontera officials are not really encouraging this as it would confuse your readers. So by putting single underline into practice, you could have your account suspended. Just a note for those who are eager to try it out.

Hi Hongkiat,
My name is Vered and I’m from Kontera.
Dropped by to thank you for helping us clarify Kontera’s position regarding the single underline. We want our publishers to maximize their revenue potential with our ContentLink ads, however we strongly believe that confusing and misleading users into clicking is something that should be discouraged.
Thanks,

Hi Vered(from Kontera),
I’m confused….Does this mean using Kontera with the single underline is against your TOS or are you simply discouraging it?

Dear God no one wants to click on your stupid Konttera links period. I can read text on some sites for all the stupid popups from these text links I accidently move the mouse over and if I do happen to click on one they’re not even relevant. If I want to search, I’ll use the damn search engine.
