One month ago, it was still a rumor but today it has been confirmed. SingTel, the largest telco in Singapore will be the one among their rivals (Starhub, M1) to be shipping iPhone into the island. This announcement has been made official on the SingTel website but not much details has been given.
Aside from Singapore, Bharti Airtel, Globe and Optus have also signed agreement to bring iPhone to their respective countries, India, Philippines and Australia. Btw, where’s Malaysia?

Where is Malaysia? Yeah, I couldn’t find it in the map either.

My brother said the iPhones will be out at the end of the year here.

@Khairil Haha. Man, that shouldn’t come from a Malaysian :-)
@BoltClock Some said September, some even said Jun. No matter when it’ll come into the island, that’s for sure. Maybe end of the year is not so bad, at least chances of getting a 3G ver is bigger.

Are you going to buy one, Hongkiat, when it comes out in Malaysia?
If you’re not sure: Just buy one! :D

@Ramy I’ve been using one for the pass 7 months, an unlocked version from US.

Okay, nice.
ReplyThe only thing I hate about it, is that simple things such as video recording and sending things using bluethooth aren’t build in.
