How To Update Twitter Via MSN / Windows Live Messenger

TwitterMail allows you to use update your Twitter via Windows Live Messenger / MSN Messenger. Here’s how to get it working:

  1. Add TwitterMSN as contact

    Add msn@twittermsn.com as contact in your Messenger.

  2. Get a TwitterMail account

    Before you can start updating via MSN, you will need to get yourself a TwitterMail account and have it verified. Follow each step on the twittermsn’s chat dialogue.

    Jenny: Its really convenient, they convert your url into tinyurl. I don’t think they have the ability to receive twitters in MSN, I’m still using Gtalk for that.

    No matter what I do, whenever I message msn@twittermsn.com the bot does not respond, do you see it as offline?

    Well this is a cool idea, but i did the same thing using messenger Add-In, though it requires you to be a programmer with knowdelege of .NET and C# , but it works better than setting up a bot.
