Nice one Nick :) As a new Mac user I though there would have been something easy that didn't need a software download to get it working.

There is an easier way to solidify the menubar in Mac OS Leopard. Go to the Apple menu> System preferences> Desktop & screensaver. Click desktop to go to where you change the desktop picture. At the bottom of the window there is a checkbox that asks you if you want the Translucent Menu Bar on or off.

Nic: It could depend on the wallpaper behind it, but I'm fine with it :-)

Lilian: That's cool. If I'm not wrong, it should come with Tiger pre-installed, Leopard CD attached. Have fun with Leopard.

PS: Remember to also get an external hard disk for Time Machine :-P

Whee! I am getting my first iMac this evening. Paid already, just waiting for the machine to reach Penang (we all so ulu, buy also must wait). Only 20" 2.0 GHz. Keep these tips coming cos I am totally clueless with Mac and cannot even find the browser button. LOL. But that's the fun of it, to learn.
