How to replace default Leopard Scrollbar
By Hongkiat.com. Filed in Mac Tips
Changing your Mac OS X Leopard’s scrollbar has never been easier, it involves the changing of Extras.rsrc file (PPC Mac) / Extras2.rsrc (Mac Intel). Applefish-fr of MacThemes came out with a new scrollbar design that changes your current default scrollbar to look like the deem grayish iTunes scrollbar.
How to replace default scrollbar with the iTunes alike
- Download the Extras.rsrc file
- If you are on Mac PPC, use Extras.rsrc, else use Extras2.rsrc. Copy the file into
/System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/
- Done!
