Hi,
I read you article/request for "Keyboard shortcut instead of mouse dragging". Here's what I've found after my first try:

Hold 'Ctrl'+'Shift' and then press 't'. This will duplicate a tab with it's URL. BUT :-( It always opens the URL of the first tab.

Enjoy...

If you press CTRL+T then the new tab will open with your current site URL typed on top. Press ENTER to load this page directly.

I don't think this is a new find. LifeHacker has already published this article around 20 days back. Here's a link: http://lifehacker.com/398131/ctrl%252Bdrag-a-tab-to-copy-it-and-its-history

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know about this. I just press CTRL + T to open a new tab (but it doesn't open the same site in the new tab). And I think that might be even faster than holding and dragging.
