You cannot be sure there will be any technical support when you need it. So I would not trust a freeware program till I am absolutely sure it is stable. I use Folder Password Expert. Even if they be able to see your hidden files, they wouldn't know you have other "invisible" files in your hidden files...etc. You can add & delete like any normal files...which is good.
