Folks at Google AdSense gives their ad contextual ad format a little touch this spring. Instead of the typical squared corners, 2 more styles are added – Slightly rounded corners and Very rounded corners. Here’s a comparison of all three formats.
Squared Corners

Slightly Rounder Corners

Very Rounded Corners

You can tweak these styles under Corner Styles in AdSense Setup tab. Borders with rounded corners definitely gives the ad a fresher look. It might help increase CTR too, depending on where you placed them on your site. As for me, I’ll prefer to stick with borderless. It does best for me. Read more about these formats here.

I’m unsubscribing from Hongkiat because of inane posts like this one.
ReplyAnd your list posts “100 ways to …”, “50 top…”, etc. may get you a few Diggs but they’re boring for your regular readers to wade through everytime. Stop blogging for hits and deliver some quality content for a change. There’s a lot to talk about besides how square corners are now round corners.
