I have seen this a lot of time in 4 mnths.It sometimes pops up and sometimes not.

This has been available since before I registered (in early 2006). Its the same as it was then, which, you need a cell phone that can recieve text messages to do it.

Sorry its only for US users, not for any other country. Maybe Gmail never wants to come out of beta.
