If you recieved this same e-mail requesting you to update your Paypal particulars before Christmas or else your account will be suspended – DO NOT DO IT.
This e-mail claimed to be send by Paypal <security@paypal.co.uk> but I highly doubt it. It requests you to click on the hyperlink on the e-mail to update but the link turns out to be pointing to http://www.paypal.com.mdsports.net/, an unsecured page with old interface, very much different from the original http://www.paypal.com.
The next time you recevied e-mails that requires you to update any account information, make sure you hover the link and check the URL it’s pointing to.

Thanks. So far there’s only Phishing warning on Firefox 2. Thunderbird and Firefox 3 beta did not indicate anything.

also received similar email to update my Paypal account..but when I mouse over on the link given, it shows different location other than original Paypal address…

if not mistaken, paypal will not address you as “dear value paypal member” or other, they will direct address your name

I has a question.. My deaf friend registered PayPal account.. After few months, his account get blocked from PayPal..he don’t know how.. He asked me but, I never use PayPal..
Can tell me about why PayPal blocked his account? How? He need to make new account Paypal?
