I must say I have to agree with you at a certain level. Not all sites listed above are copycats and most of us certainly know that. Some could have just been 'inspired' by digg.com and some are just enhancing from digg.com and couldn't bother to reinvent the wheel. It's good to keep digg feeling competitive. But still, some are blatantly coying from the original.

If you seen more similar sites, would be great if you could let me know so it can be added to the listing.

I'm just curious to see this from users point of view. I would love to know more about yigg.de but unfortunately I can't read germans.

Nice compilation of screenshots. Indeed, there are several more than those listed above. I work with Yigg Germany. While the site superficially is a Digg-look-alike, it has quite a number of features that are not available on digg.com, such as our "Spion" (spy) which provides real time insights into community activity. We also offer a word press plugin, snap! previews, flickr and google earth mashups, an Amazon-type feature (people who voted for this piece of news also voted for...) personalization (groups, personal tags, personal stats, personal history) blogs and private messaging. In addition there are a whole number of configuration options for registered users.

If you are interested, get in touch with me and I share some more thoughts on why we are similar yet quite different. Would also love to hear your comments about www.yigg.de
