Alex of Box.net sent me an e-mail today, announcing the release of several new plugins for their file sharing service. Here’s a little background about Box.net for those who are unfamiliar with it.

Box.net allows you to store and share files online with your peers. Free account comes with 1GB of free space but there are options for more storage space, with extra charges of course. Box.net previously released a Microsoft Office plug-in that allows you to directly upload MS Word file to Box.net for sharing. The plug-in got good response from the public and Box.net decided to launch more plug-ins.

If you are using any of the following applications, Box.net has the plugin for direct upload and share.

  • Adobe Photoshop 7 / CS / CS2
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • 3D Studio Max
