Alexa just have their website changed, nicer layout with an orbed logo. This new interface looks more comfortable to eyes. Many people don’t trust Alexa statistics, claiming they are bias or more advantegous towards websites of specific niches. True, to a certain extend I have to agree with that because Alexa rankings comes only from users who are using Alexa Toolbar and rankings can be easily manipulate. High ranks in Alexa is not equivalent to a success site. However there is no metrics that are perfectly accurate. Many ads network are still using Alexa as one of ranking determining factor (of course with Google Page Ranks, Technorati, etc too). This shows getting high ranking in Alexa is still quite important.
