Wallpaperstock is NOT a royalty free image site. It is a wallpaper site, I see a lot of the images on their site are lifted from webshots or deviantart.

Read their lame excuse for a copyright notice at the bottom of their webpage:

“If the copyright of any wallpaper or stock photo belongs to you, contact us and we’ll remove it!”

It seems the owners of this website do not even know the difference between a stock image or wallpaper image or that they even care about copyright protection, since so much of the stuff on the site is lifted from other places.

I admit I use their images for wallpaper but the fact is their site has a lot of images on it that were put their illegally….in other words without the permission of the copyright owner.

I voted for bigstock and istockphoto..always got my image projects there!

we are new on the block, but thought you might want to take a look. http://www.moodboard.com for microstock and royalty free images. You can also set yourself up as an e-tailer,get code, then start earning commission…whilst giving a discount to those who buy images using your code.

Nice list here. My favorite one is iStockPhoto.com.

I wish I knew of a credit-based clipart site. Subscriptions are too expensive.

Stumbled upon this while searching for photo stock images. I have some free images in my clip-art shop at http://shop.missmary.com/ and hope to offer more soon. Not sure if anyone here would find them useful, but I’ll be adding more freebies soon (just upgraded my server…yipee!).

Has anyone seen BrightQube? I have a feeling it’s still slightly new, but I took a spin around the site, and putting aside the rather flash-heavy interface, it’s an awesome all-in-1 search engine for stock photos. :)
